Compliance
Lewis Security Group has a new range of access and
security systems that are 'fit for purpose' in line with the requirements
of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA), Part 3.
The DDA gives disabled people rights of access to services.
In October 2004, additional provisions of part 3 came into effect. These
relate to physical access, where service providers have to make reasonable
adjustments to the physical features of their premises. Some of these
adjustments relate directly to door entry systems that many buildings
now use for access control.
Lewis Security Group supply and install the following
DDA compliant systems:
Induction Loops
Door Entry Systems
Door Operators
In accordance with recommendations from the Royal Institute
for the Blind (RNIB), Lewis Security Group offers DDA Compliant access
and security systems that bear their logo.
